Upgrade your Kawasaki Triple with this modern MOSFET electronic voltage regulator. Designed as a direct replacement for the original mechanical unit, part number 21072-004.

It’s a simple solution that can be used straight out of the box, if this is your choice, yet it has been engineered to neatly fit inside the original metal housing once the old regulator element has been removed.
This upgrade delivers modern reliability and performance while allowing you to retain the bike’s classic appearance and value.
Supplied with the correct connector that simply needs the housing clipped in place.

The connector housing is supplied loose to allow the wires to be threaded through holes in the metal base, if using that option. Match up the wire colours across the connector.
Note: We have had reports that the charge lamp may not work. We have included a safety feature that prevents this unit being destroyed in the situation of reverse battery connection. We believe this is blocking the charge lamp function. We will look in to other options and develop a solution. The regulator function works as normal.
Reverse connection of the battery will still destroy the rectifier, there is no way to prevent this occurring. The regulator protective circuit does not protect the rectifier.
