Modern MOSFET voltage regulator, replacement for Honda part numbers 31400-300-035 or 31400-333-004. Replaces and up-grades the original mechanical regulator unit.
Fits CB350, CB400F, CB500, CB550, CB750, CB750A Automatic, covering years 1969-78.
Designed as a direct replacement, this regulator can be connected and used as supplied. Alternatively, for owners wishing to preserve the original appearance of their motorcycle, it will fit neatly inside the original Hitachi metal housing, once the original mechanical element has been removed. Once reassembled, it is virtually indistinguishable from the original unit, but with solid state electronic control concealed inside.
The result is improved reliability and performance while maintaining the motorcycle’s originality and value.
Supplied with the correct wire colours, making wiring hassle free, the connectors are supplied loose, to allow the wires to be threaded through the metal base, if using that option.
