New CDi unit for 1978 CB400A Hondamatic bikes that use CDI unit 070000-0271. Refers to Honda number 30400-417-014. Complete with mounting bracket.
Note there are two versions – only the correct one will work, please confirm by refering to a parts book or looking at the part fitted before ordering – We are not able to check this for you.

A new CDi unit is only one part of the ignition system, so if a brand new ‘plug-in’ CDi unit does not fix, or changes the symptoms then your next action is to consider other parts in the system that may need to be replaced or repaired to clear the problem, especially where that system is over 20 years old. You can be sure that the issue will be found in an old part you have not yet replaced.
Important: This system also has a change over relay that controls the CDi, our technicians can check this is working correctly. We also have a testing guide for the functions this controls that you can download. Your machine must pass all tests.
Using the incorrect CDi unit or a failed change over relay (C.O.R) may lead to unsafe conditions that must be corrected before riding.
