E-Starter-Kit ‘XSTART’ Basic kit with LiFePo4 Battery
Application: SR500-’94
The ‘XSTART’ includes a 1kW starter with alternator cover, adapters for the original magnetic rotor sprag clutch, drive chain and starter relay, all the necessary accessories and detailed, illustrated instructions for quick and easy installation.
A lithium battery pack (LiFePo4) replaces the existing vehicle battery.
The starting current of the starter is 300A, with a peak current of 600A, which is within the ability of a lithium cell.
A new alternator cover gasket is included with every kit. We included a stainless steel flywheel holder tool for easier and damage-free removal of the rotor. The magnetic rotor does not have to be dismantled.

Machine Requirements:
-Standard Yamaha flywheel must be fitted. Compatible with our & Kedo Electronic & 12V conversions
-Requires gear lever to clear the increased width of generator cover. A suitable alternative is shown below.
Shipping Notice for Lithium Batteries
. Please note that due to courier restrictions, we are unable to ship lithium batteries on their own to addresses outside the UK mainland. Unfortunately there are NO exceptions, this means we cannot send standalone batteries to regions we are unable to service directly.
If you require a battery and are located outside the UK mainland, you must arrange delivery to a UK mainland address for collection. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
