Rex’s restoration service for your own Mitsubishi ‘Solid State Magneto’ units is intended for those wishing to retain maximum originality and value for your classic Kawasaki Triple. This service is for H1D and H2 four box units as per the pictures shown.
Once received, your unit will be totally stripped to bare metal, replated then ‘reloaded’ with our modern electronic circuits with new leads and connectors.
Every unit we manufacture is fully test run, restored units are no exception. Once every test, including endurance under heavy load has been passed the units are sealed in resin. Accurate reproduction foil decals are added to ensure the unit appears exactly as an original unit straight from the factory.
Our technicians will give you an ESTIMATE of turn round time. Please be aware that bespoke work will not and cannot be rushed. Customers are asked respectfully to ensure they have sufficient time if their machine has a deadline to meet.
One year warranty from date of purchase.
All our ignition units are guaranteed where the rest of the ignition system is within its useful life span. We are able to offer the same level of restoration for generators which typically affect how a CDi unit operates. We draw your attention to the fact that heavy corrosion will always leave marks on the metal that cannot be removed. If you have additional units we are happy to select the ones that will give the best finish.
