Important: There are two possible versions of this CDI. Please physically check the unit fitted to your motorcycle before ordering.
Although we make every effort to ensure our application information is accurate, variations between original market of sale do occur. Checking which version you have before ordering will help avoid unnecessary delays.

This CDi unit is for bikes mainly sold in the USA market although some EU models also share it. This unit has a RED and BROWN wire – be sure to carefully check your machine has a CDi with these wires BEFORE ordering.

A new CDi unit is only one part of the ignition system, so if a brand new ‘plug-in’ CDi unit does not fix, or changes the symptoms then your next action is to consider other parts in the system that may need to be replaced or repaired to clear the problem, especially where that system is over 20 years old. You can be sure that the issue will be found in an old part you have not yet replaced.
